Banks Peninsula is a spectacular extinct volcano on the outskirts of Christchurch City, the major entry point to the South Island, and home to the best walks in Christchurch.

We have four different walks, all within 30 minutes from Christchurch city. Our most popular is 'Path of the Gods' around Godley Head, however all of our walks access different parts of the Crater Rim Walkway. For small group tours, the guide will determine which walk is the most suitable on the day, depending on weather, track conditions, and participants. If you have a preference however please request it when you book. For private bookings, you are welcome to choose any of the destinations below or leave it to us to create the perfect day.
