Departing from and returning to Christchurch City

DESCRIPTION:

Travel with your guide to the beach suburb of Sumner, where you will climb up and around the hillside tracks of this picturesque spot.  Find yourself inside the crater rim, and look out on the beautiful coastline of Canterbury stretching towards Pegasus and beyond. Views from this vantage point are quite different from our other walks, and you may choose to stay on and shop or dine in this great location before returning to Christchurch City.

DISTANCE:

This walk covers 12km, a moderately challenging climb.

PRICE INCLUDES:

Walking sticks, transport to and from the destination where the walk begins, morning tea, lunch, drinking water, and your guide for the day.

DON'T FORGET:

Good walking shoes, a sun hat, warm clothes, and a jacket.
